We moved all four sites over in a fortnight, right before Christmas. Sunday carvery used to back up at the bar — now orders land in the kitchen the second they're rung in, and the group report takes me five minutes instead of a morning.

The two kiosks paid for themselves by the second month. The average order is up around £3.40, and the phone isn't ringing off the hook while we're plating up.

Stock finally matches reality — we cut milk waste noticeably in the first quarter. When I need a price changed across all three shops I message on WhatsApp and it's done before I've finished my coffee.

EPOS questions we get asked every week

How much does an EPOS system cost in the UK?
NexaTill software starts at £29 a month for a single till, £59 for a busy single site and from £99 a month for multi-site groups. Prices exclude hardware, which you can buy outright or rent — ask us on WhatsApp for a hardware quote.
What is an EPOS system?
EPOS stands for electronic point of sale. It is the till software that takes the order, takes the payment, prints to the kitchen, tracks stock and reports your takings — replacing a basic cash register and a spreadsheet.
Which is the best EPOS system for a restaurant or takeaway?
The best one is the one that matches your service. Restaurants need table plans and coursing; takeaways need delivery apps, caller ID and driver dispatch; pubs need fast rounds and tabs. NexaTill covers all three, so start the free 7-day trial and run it through a real service.
Can I switch from my current till system without closing?
Yes. We import your menu and prices before install day, fit the tills outside trading hours and train your team on site. Most single sites switch inside a week and multi-site groups in about a fortnight.
Does the till system take card payments?
Yes. Card payments are built in with chip, contactless and phone payments on the till or a handheld, PCI DSS compliant processing and next-day settlement.
Do you cover my area?
We install and support venues across England, seven days a week from a UK team. Message us your postcode and we will confirm cover and an install date.
