Where they started
- Two different till systems across four pubs, with no combined reporting
- Sunday service backing up at the bar while food orders were written by hand
- Menu and price changes made site by site, often inconsistently
How the switch went
- 4 Nov 2024Menus and price bands imported, staff logins created
- 11–18 Nov 2024Sites installed one per evening, no closed trading days
- 2 Dec 2024Eight handhelds added for table and bar service
- 9 Jan 2025Group reporting and central price control switched on
We moved all four sites over in a fortnight, right before Christmas. Sunday carvery used to back up at the bar — now orders land in the kitchen the second they're rung in, and the group report takes me five minutes instead of a morning.
Source and verification
Figures supplied by Raja's Pubs from NexaTill reporting exports and cross-checked against their previous provider's 2024 reports. Wait-time figures come from till timestamps, not observation.
