Verification and compliance

Anyone can print a statistic on a website. This page explains where each number on nexatill.co.uk comes from and what our compliance claims actually cover.

How we check published figures

Every customer number on this site comes from that customer's own NexaTill reporting exports, compared with a matching period before they joined. The comparison period and the source are printed next to each figure on the case study page.

Nothing is published until the named customer has read the page and approved it in writing. The approval date is shown on each case study. If a customer asks us to remove a figure, we take it down.

Results vary by menu, staffing and trading pattern. We do not present any figure as what you should expect.

Uptime and how it is measured

Uptime is measured by external monitoring checks against the till service every minute, and covers 1 January 2026 to the end of last month. Planned maintenance windows, announced at least 48 hours ahead, are excluded.

Tills keep taking orders and card payments offline if your internet drops, and sync when the connection returns.

Support response times

Our WhatsApp and phone response figure is the median time to a first human reply, taken from our own message records over the last 12 months. It is a median, not a guarantee — the slowest replies are longer.

Support is UK-based and answers seven days a week on 0161 341 2244 and WhatsApp.

PCI DSS card payments

Card payments run on PCI DSS compliant payment terminals and gateways provided by our payment partners. Card numbers are never stored on your till or in NexaTill: the terminal handles the card data and returns only an authorisation result.

That means the compliance scope for your business stays as small as possible. We can send the current attestation documents from our payment partner on request.

Making Tax Digital ready

NexaTill keeps digital records of every sale, refund and VAT rate, and exports them to Xero and QuickBooks so your VAT returns can be filed digitally under Making Tax Digital.

NexaTill is not itself HMRC-recognised filing software: the return is filed by your accounting package or your accountant from the records NexaTill provides.

Your data and GDPR

Customer and sales data is held in UK/EU data centres. You remain the data controller for your own customer records and can export or delete them at any time.

Enquiries sent through this website are stored so we can contact you about a trial, and we record which button you used to get in touch so we know which parts of the site are useful. We do not sell data or pass it to advertisers.
